Plagarism prevention and detection services are provided by Turnitin.
There are 2 ways in which you can add Turnitin with Canvas assignments, Turnitin Framework and Turnitin Feedback Studio.

Setup Turnitin with Canvas Assignments
- Turnitin Framework with Canvas - the quickest and easiest set up.
- Turnitin Feedback Studio - a more complex setup but provides the features provided when using the Turnitin web site.
Request Turnitin Web Account
Turnitin.com Accounts can be requested if you do not want to use Canvas with Turnitin but instead want to use the Turnitin web portal to manage your Turnitin Classes and assignments.
- Request a Texas State Turnitin.com Account
- Create a course on Turnitin.com and use their grading and feedback features offered.
- Students will need to enroll into the Turnitin Course site.
- Students will upload papers directly to a Turnitin.com assignment.
Assignments on the Turnitin web portal do not integrate with the Canvas gradebook and do not import into the Canvas gradebook.
