WebFiles  allows you to access files stored on departmental file shares or your personal UDrive files from anywhere and from any web browser.

• Where to use: Texas State Windows and Mac computers, personal computers, online
• Cost: Free

Get Started

Public, Confidential, and Sensitive information can be stored in your UDrive or Department site. WebFiles is a way to access these files from off campus. Learn more by reviewing the File and Data Storage and Sharing guidelines.

To begin, go to WebFiles, and log in with your NetID and Password.

For help and assistance with WebFiles, see these instructions:

1. Go to WebFiles.
2. Enter your NetID and Password, and click OK.
3. Complete Duo authentication.
4. In the left pane, click UDrive (or Department Share, if visible).
5. Locate your file, and use the menu bar at the top to perform these actions:
   • View or edit
   • Download
   • Add a new file
   • Delete the file
   • Copy the file
