Getting Started with Zoom

Available in an online or classroom format, Getting Started with Zoom will cover how to do the following:

  • Setup and conduct meetings and webinars
  • Collaborate on projects
  • Poll participants
  • Share/annotate on one another's screens
  • Manage your audience
  • Record sessions for later viewing

Course Requirements

These workshops will be conducted using Zoom. A Zoom Pro account is available to all faculty, staff, and students. Prior to class, participants will be sent a meeting invitation via email which will include additional instructions on how to download and setup Zoom.

For classroom training, bring your own device for hands-on experience.

For online training, join the meeting from a quiet space of your choosing. A computer or mobile device with an Internet connection, speakers/headphones, and microphone are required. A webcam is not required to attend this workshop but will be necessary to use the full features of Zoom.
