Get Started

SPSS Statistics for academic use is available on these computer types:

• TXST Mac computers
• TXST Windows computers
• Faculty personal computers
• Student personal computers

NOTES:

Faculty and Staff

• Submit an SPSS request for your Mac or Windows computer.
• Once the request is received, an ITAC agent will reach out and the software will be advertised to your computer via Software Center or Jamf. If you are installing version 26 on a personal computer, make sure to connect to the virtual private network (VPN) before contacting ITAC.

Students

• Submit the SPSS Statistics for Students Request
• In order to have SPSS licensed to work, you will need to start a livechat. From here, an ITAC agent will start a 5-10 minute remote session to help you set up your software. Please have your SPSS 6-digit ticket number handy. Be sure you have installed SPSS before starting a livechat.
