FY 2023 Telephone Service Invoices Explained

Know which telephone bill your department is responsible for funding

In the FY 2023 telephone service invoices, you will be sent two types of invoices for review: (1) those paid by your department and (2) those paid for by a centralized institutional funding account. Your department is only responsible for the department invoices; however, please verify that the names and phone numbers are accurate on all invoices.

How to tell the difference between the two types of invoices

Department Funded Invoice

If your department is listed next to Account Name, your department is responsible for these telephone service fees. The Account Number listed will be used to pay for the fees.

Centralized Institutional Funding Invoice

If Central Account is listed next to Account Name, the phone service is paid for by TXST central fund account number. Your department is not responsible for these telephone service fees; however, please review the names and phone numbers for accuracy.

 Bundled Teams Line Service

A subscriber (Last Name, First Name) will be listed on the invoice for those who have a Teams service in addition to their landline services. The Department Account OR Central Account will be listed next to Account Name.
