How to Install Microsoft 365 on a Personal Windows Computer

  1. Go to Microsoft 365.
  2. Enter your Texas State email address (e.g., zzz99@txstate.edu) and click Sign In.

  3. Enter your NetID password, and click Sign In.

  4. Click Install Apps.
  5. Click Install.

  6. Click Run when the popup window appears.

  7. Click Yes to allow the program to make changes.

    You will now be taken to Microsoft 365.

  8. Choose an option and click Accept.

  9. Click Sign In.

  10. Enter Texas State email address (e.g., zzz99@txstate.edu),  and click Next.

  11. Click Organizational account.

  12. Enter your Texas State email address (e.g., zzz99@txstate.edu), and NetID password.

  13. Choose a format and click Next.

  14. Click All Done!

    Congratulations! You will now have access to Microsoft 365.
