How do I know when I'm in a DEV, QUAL, or PROD environment? 

Often times DEV, QUAL, and PROD environments look exactly the same. Some apps may add a watermark or other indicator to identify the environment as DEV or QUAL.

One of the easiest ways to know which environment you're in is to look at the Web address (URL) or the connection path to the service. If "qual" or "dev" is displayed, know that you're in the non-production environment, and be sure to log into that environment using your NetID and the appropriate password (DEV or QUAL).
