How to Generate a Course Evaluation Report

NOTES:

  • Course Evaluations reports through Fall 2020 will still be available in ePortfolio.
  • Reports generate on a new tab. Make sure your web browser pop-up blocker settings allow ePortfolio pages to open.
  • Course evaluations are always anonymous. 

Course Evaluation Report Types:


Status Report for Instructors

NOTE: This report will give you a real-time status report on student completion of your course evaluations. The evaluations must already be in progress or completed for results to be displayed.

  1. Go to ePortfolio.
  2. Enter your NetID and Password, and click Login.
  3. In the Utility Bar, click your name.
    NOTE: This will make sure Faculty is selected.
  4. In the left Tools menu, click Reports.
  5. Click the link TxState Course Evaluation Status Report for Instructors.
  6. There are four options to complete:
    • Semester
      • Click the appropriate term.
    • Course Evaluation Title
      • Click the appropriate course evaluation title
      • NOTE: This will have a semester and a department name like Spring 2016 Course Evaluation (Sociology).
      • NOTE: The term and the term listed in the Course Evaluation Title should match.
    • Course
      • In the drop down menu, click a single course click All.
    • Section
      • In the drop down menu, click a single course or click All.
         
  7. Click Generate.
    NOTE: For the report to generate successfully, your web browser must allow pop-ups on this page.

Evaluation Report For Instructors

  1. Go to ePortfolio.
  2. Enter your NetID and Password, and click Login.
  3. Click Reports in the Tools menu.
  4. Click TX State Course Evaluation Report for Instructors.
    NOTE: This report will take a few minutes to load.
  5. There are three options to complete:
    • Semester
      • Click the appropriate term.
    • Course Evaluation Title
      • Click the appropriate course evaluation title
      • NOTE: This will have a semester and a department name like Spring 2016 Course Evaluation (Sociology).
      • NOTE: The term and the term listed in the Course Evaluation Title should match.
    • Course
      • In the drop down menu, click a single course or click All.
         
  6. Click Generate.
    NOTE: For the report to generate successfully, your internet browser must allow pop-ups on this page.
  7. Once the report finishes loading, Print or Export the report.
    NOTE: The Print option generates a PDF. The Export option generates an Excel file. You must wait for the report to completely load before these buttons will download the report.
