Device Health and Management delivers monthly software updates and patches applied to managed Texas State computers via Software Center (Windows), Microsoft automatic updates, and LANrev (Mac). This practice maintains computer health and helps to protect confidential and sensitive university data.

Learn
Texas State Windows computers receive updates directly from Microsoft. These include just-in-time security updates, monthly updates, and feature updates. Also, some software titles that are not native to the Windows operating system are also updated on a monthly basis via Software Center.
Texas State Mac computers receive updates directly from Apple. Software titles not native to macOS are also updated monthly via Jamf.
